Oscars 2015

So the Oscars have come and gone again this year!
This year was slightly different with Girl Power vibes that the spice girls would be proud of. It’s the year of feminism and this was definitely an issue that was raised. Patricia Arquette made a compelling speech when she accepted her award. Women deserve equal pay and rights.
Reese Witherspoon then made her views clear that women should be asked more than what are you wearing…
Well if I was there I definitely would! Could you imagine!

If I’m honest, I wasn’t impressed with the dresses this year. Now don’t get me wrong, some were lovely but nothing out of this world!

Here are a few of my favorites…

ITWBN Blogger Event February Meet-UP

IMG_2806

Hey guys!
So I’ve spent since November counting down the days ’til the ITWBN blogger event! I had a great time at the last one and met some amazing people. This network is truly amazing. I now have a family of bloggers to help guide me. As Siabh said your friends are probably sick of you talking about your blog whereas us bloggers love it! Its so much more then posting and getting more followers, it’s a family of like-minded people who can support one another. If I have a question I can ask instead of googling it!

So the 8th of February finally came and boy did it not disappoint! I got the impression that it was definitely going to be bigger but wow!
It was hosted in the beautiful Radisson Hotel in Galway. I got there early so waited in the bar for people to arrive, and yes I had a sneaky glass of wine with Sandra from A Modern Mommy’s World. Continue reading

So I’m going to my 2nd Bloggers event this weekend and I can’t wait!
Unfortunately the last 2 months have been hectic so only finally finished my blog post on my 1st event. I promise I’ll be better.
I attended the Into The West Bloggers Network (ITWBN) event at the beginning of November in the beautiful Glenlo Abbey Hotel. It was organised by Sinead of  Yummy Mummy blog and Siabh of Siabh Egan Photography.

Bare Minerals

Bare MineralsBare Minerals has to be my all time beauty favourite. I use most of their products from cleanser to foundation. I have super sensitive skin and find this range amazing! My skin has never been better.

Skincare

Their skincare range is made using Active Soil Complex (minerals from soil). Sounds gross but once you try it you will never go back. If you don’t want to commit you can buy their travel kit for around 25 euro to try. Cleanser is 19 euro and their moisturiser is a lil’ pricey at 34 euro but its definitely worth it. They only negative thing is they don’t have a toner. I use a different brand but would love to see them bring one out. Toning is such an important step.
